Specialized Programs

Specialized Program Schedule:

Music Production:

July 15 - 19: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U is teaming with Learn Listen Play for a one week specialty camp.  Music Production campers will develop skill sets in music composition, recording, mixing, and sequencing while working with professional musicians and studio engineers. Campers will be introduced to the industry’s popular software and hardware used in music production.  Topics covered during the week include: recording vocals and instrumentalists, microphone techniques, Apple Logic (digital audio workstation), MIDI sequencing, and sound design.

Junior Golf Camp:

August 5 - 9: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Junior Golf Camp provides each camper with a fun, memorable and educational golf experience. Campers receive hands-on instruction which includes drills, training exercises, and skill-development games all designed to teach young golfers what they need to know to have fun and develop confidence in their game.  All equipment will be provided.

Tennis Camp:

July 22 - 26: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Tennis Camp gives campers the opportunity to gain experience on the court with individual skill development, group instruction, games and fun. Campers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.  Our instruction is based upon and builds upon their starting skill level and weekly development. All equipment will be provided. 

Aerospace:

July 29 - August 2: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Department of Aerospace will have campers engineer and take to the sky with rockets and drones. Campers will explore the science and engineering of flight and experiment with varied types of rockets and drones. Campers will team up, compete, and learn in a fast paced, fun-filled environment. Aerospace campers will have a physical education period each day.

Culinary:

July 8 - 12 & July 22 - 26: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Department of Culinary Arts allows campers to enter the kitchen stadium and expand their skills.  Campers will be taught the basics of prep, meal planning, and nutrition.  Kids in the kitchen learn to cook in a way that’s hands-on and fun. Each day there’s a new recipe and campers work together measuring, chopping, and stirring to create a delicious and healthy lunch to enjoy with each other. They’ll also be staying active and improving their nutritional literacy through games and physical education.

 Digital Media:

August 5 - August 9: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Department of Digital Media is a full week interactive camp that allows campers to engage many aspects of video production. Campers will have an opportunity to direct, edit, write and more in a video production. Campers will produce:

  • Movie Trailers
  • Commercials
  • Music Videos
  • News stories
  • Music Soundtracks and more

Future Stars U staff ensures a memorable, fun filled week for all. Digital Media Campers also have a physical education period each day.

Forensic Science:CSI

June 24 - 28: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Department of Forensic Science campers solve mysteries using forensic science while developing problem solving skills. Our staff of experienced Forensic Scientists will lead teams of budding sleuths into the world of crime scene investigations.  Learning and fun will guide CSI campers in the field and laboratory alike. Campers will work in groups to discover the techniques and methods used by investigators, archaeologists, and enthusiasts. Future Stars U CSI camp will deliver a nonstop mentally engaging week. CSI campers will also have a physical education period each day. 

Engineering: 

August 12 - 16: Ages 9-13

Future Stars U Department of Engineering is a full week journey through the worlds of engineering and design.  Instructors guide campers through technology based learning and programming.  Campers will develop skills in problem solving, collaboration, creativity, and project planning.  Campers utilize K-Nex and Parrot, along with other leading educational technologies.  The guided process offers campers the chance to explore and broaden their interests.  The only limitation for the Department of Engineering campers is the depth of the imagination.  Campers with have a physical education period each day.
