Traditional Day Camp
Traditional camp is offered to campers ages 4-13. Campers are grouped co-ed by grade level.
Future Stars daily swim program provides individual attention for the non-swimmer as well as the advanced swimmer. In a caring and safe environment, Future Stars campers progress in skill level while mastering water adjustment skills, rotary breathing, arm movements and stroke refinement. Complete water safety is our goal as campers receive praise and confidence. Throughout the summer, campers develop at their own pace while our certified instructors emphasize the American Red Cross Standards.
* Campers at our College of St. Elizabeth location swim twice a week between the hours of 4 PM - 5 PM.
Hidden talents emerge as all campers discover their creative abilities with musical instruments, skits, creative movement, songs and dance. Campers and staff prepare weekly for talent presentations that are sure to bring smiles and laughs to one and all. The Camp Show Week promises a week of singing, dancing and becoming a star on stage.
Campers will try their hand in a wide variety of thematic crafts and projects every day. Campers create their own age-appropriate masterpieces with an assortment of media including clay, paper-mache, plaster of paris, acrylics, watercolors, and pastels. Campers get hands-on experiences in sculpting, 3-D art, tie-dye shirts, wood models and much more. All in all, the Future Stars Arts and Crafts program invites campers to freely express themselves in a fun and innovative way.
Fun 'N Games!
Future Stars campers will participate daily in a wide variety of age appropriate fun-filled events. Crazy Hat Day, Backwards Day, scavenger and treasure hunts, parachute play and Banana Day are just a few ways campers have fun and experience the special events of each week. Game segments will include new activities that teach social skills, decision making and good sportsmanship. Each week campers will be on a journey to build confidence and experience the joy of activity and interaction.
Campers transform into young scientists as they enter our Future Stars science laboratory. Each scientist will discover more about our world through hands-on experiments involving electricity, magnetism and chemistry. Campers will also experiment with projects that incorporate weather and the preservation of our environment. Our campers are sure to explore the world around us!
Campers will begin with the computer basics in a creative learning environment that inspires growth and achievement. Our multiple activities combine learning and fun. Games and programs build creativity and problem-solving techniques.
Time For Tots
Future Stars offers four and five year old the opportunity to be a part of our day camp program with the option of leaving at 1 p.m. Most four and five year old campers participate in the full day program.
With an age-appropriate personalized schedule, our youngest campers are encouraged to expand their horizons in a warm, nuturing atmosphere. They will embark on a musical journey and escape into a good book at Story Time, while still being able to enjoy a variety of the day camp session.
